Travel Town is a free merge game from Moon Active. You spend energy to spawn items on a board, drag two matching items together to make a better one, and hand the results to villagers rebuilding a storm-wrecked resort island.
That’s the whole loop, and it’s simple on purpose. What turns it into a game is the board. It’s 8×9, it fills up fast, and most of your real decisions are about space. If you’re just here to top up, the Travel Town free energy page has the current links.
Today’s Travel Town free energy links
Every Travel Town energy link we check goes here, newest first, and they’re free to collect. Everything below explains the game they belong to.

Tap a card on your phone and the link opens Travel Town with the energy already attached. There’s no code to copy and nothing to type in.
New links go up as Moon Active posts them, and most die within a day or two. Cards you’ve already opened turn to CLAIMED, so you can see what’s left.

What is Travel Town - Merge Adventure?
Travel Town - Merge Adventure is a casual merge puzzle game for iOS and Android, made and published by Moon Active. A storm has wrecked a coastal resort town, and your job is to put it back together.
You do that by merging. Producers hand you raw items, you combine matching pairs into better versions, and you give the finished goods to the islanders who ask for them. Their orders pay in Gold Coins, coins pay for repairs, and repairs open up the next stretch of the island.
How the merge loop works
The loop runs in five steps, and you'll repeat it thousands of times.
Spend energy. Tap a producer and it drops a tier-1 item on the board. Each tap costs 1 energy.
Merge. Drag two identical items together and they become one item of the next tier. Two level-1 shells make one level-2 shell.
Fill orders. Villager orders sit at the top of the screen. Merge an item up to the tier they want, tap Deliver, and it leaves your board for Gold Coins and event points.
Repair the town. Coins and toolboxes go into fixing buildings, which is the only thing that raises your level.
Unlock more. New levels open new producers and new parts of the island, and you start again with better items.
The 8x9 board
Everything happens on one grid of 72 tiles, and that number is the real constraint in Travel Town.
Items you don't need can be sold for a small amount of gold, or moved off the board into inventory slots you buy with coins or gems. Leave it alone and a full board stops you spawning anything at all, which is how most sessions actually end.
Energy producers vs auto-producers
Energy producers
Cost you the bar- 1 energy per item spawned
- Run dry after roughly 30 to 50 items
- Then sit on a cooldown timer
- Picnic Basket, Bakery Oven, Shell Bucket
Auto-producers
Cost you nothing- No energy at all
- Drop items on their own timer
- Unlock at higher town levels
- Jewelry Box, Lightbulb, Ice Cream Showcase, Vineyard
That difference matters more than anything else on this page. Energy producers are what your bar gets spent on. Auto-producers keep working while the bar is empty and while you're not playing at all, so the more of them you have running, the less the energy cap gets in your way.
Progression: upgrading the island
Your level only goes up when you repair and upgrade buildings. Merging on its own doesn't level you, no matter how long you sit there.
| Structure | Level needed | Producer it unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| Beach Picnic Area | 1 | Picnic Basket |
| Seaside Bakery | 8 | Bakery Oven |
| Coastal Shell Hut | 15 | Shell Bucket |
| Isle Jewelry Shop | 22 | Jewelry Box (auto) |
| Lighthouse | 31 | Lightbulb (auto) |
| Beach Bar & Grill | 40 | Ice Cream Showcase (auto) |
Fixing buildings earns XP and opens new producer chains. Once every upgrade tied to an older producer is finished, villagers stop ordering from that chain and you can move the producer into storage. The game calls these retired producers, and shifting them off the grid is one of the easiest ways to get space back.
Energy, gems and chests
| Currency | Where it comes from | What it's for |
|---|---|---|
| Energy | 1 point every 2 minutes, up to 100 | Spawning items from producers |
| Gems | Level-ups and daily goals | Board storage and energy refills |
| Gold Coins | Completed orders | Repairing and upgrading the town |
Energy also comes from daily ad views, level-up chests, and the gift links Moon Active posts on its own channels.
Two habits that save a lot of energy: don't open energy chests the moment you get them, because merging them up to level 5 first pays out far more. And keep gems for permanent board storage or the daily 10-gem refill rather than one-off item bubbles.
Card albums and playing with friends
Card albums run for 30 to 60 days. You collect themed cards from daily goals, events and card packs, and finishing a set pays out a big chunk of energy and gems.
Connect the game to Facebook and you can send duplicate cards straight to friends, which is the fastest way to close the gaps in a set.
Two rare items are worth holding onto. The Joker merges with anything to bump it up a tier, and the Splitter breaks a high-tier item back into two lower ones.
Four tips worth knowing
Don't merge your auto-producers. Several low-level Jewelry Boxes or Lightbulbs produce far more per hour than one merged high-level version.
Merge before you sell. If you have to clear space, merge the low-tier items first. Higher tiers sell for much more per tile they take up.
Hold auto-orders for events. High-tier items from auto-producers trigger special customer offers. Save those until a pinata or milestone event starts, then cash them in.
Max out energy chests. Merge energy bolts and chests as high as they will go before you open them.
Frequently asked questions
How do you get free energy in Travel Town?
Energy comes back on its own at 1 point every 2 minutes, up to 100. You can also get it from daily video ads, level-up chests, daily milestone goals, merged energy chests, and the gift links Moon Active posts on its official channels.
What are auto-producers in Travel Town?
Auto-producers are items like the Jewelry Box and Lightbulb that you unlock at higher levels. They drop items on their own timer and cost no energy at all, so keeping several of them unmerged gives you a steady supply for free.
How do you clear space when your board is full?
Sell duplicate low-tier items for gold, move high-tier producers into inventory storage slots, or merge matching items to turn two tiles into one. Moving retired producers into storage also clears obsolete generators off the grid.
Can you play Travel Town offline?
No. Travel Town needs an internet connection. The game saves your board, checks order deliveries, updates daily events and syncs card trading on its servers, so none of it works without a connection.
