MergeVille is a farming and town-building game you play on Facebook. You’re the Mayor. You grow crops, merge matching items into better ones, clear new land, and build up your town. It runs in your web browser, so there’s nothing to install.
Sooner or later you’ll run short of energy or supplies. The official MergeVille Facebook page posts promo codes that help, and our MergeVille promo codes page lists them with the date on each one.

How the game works
The studio sums it up in one line: grow crops, merge items, unlock new territories, and develop your city. Your farm makes the raw goods, merging turns small items into bigger ones, and new land opens up as you go.
Merging got easier with an update the studio calls Global Merge. Matching items don't have to sit side by side anymore. The game finds them anywhere on the map and shows you how many items it's using and how many new ones you'll get. Its own example: with 6 of the same item, it merges 5 into 2 of the next level and leaves 1 behind.
Trains, fog and Flashlights
You load trains with goods to fill orders. The Train Orders at the Main Stage's Railway Station pay Flashlights along with other prizes.
You need those Flashlights because fog covers parts of your farm. Clear it and you'll find resources, but you also have to switch on a Generator there. If you don't, the fog comes back and new resource deposits show up in its place.
Flashlights. Get them from Train Orders, from a Box of Flashlights, or by spending Gems.
Gasoline Canisters. The studio says to collect these before you clear fog, so you've got enough power to run more than one Generator.
Journeys and festivals
Journeys are special trips with their own goals, and each one opens at a set level. In the newest update, Volcano Beam, Professor Emmet asks you to collect Fuses and Volcanic Samples. The prize is a Volcanic Field, which adds to your fields and boosts your harvest. It opens at level 18.
Hearts Way, a Journey with Harby, opens at level 11. You collect Broken Hearts and plant Love Trees. The Festival opens at level 9. You send Sweet Hearts Trains, get Sweet Hearts Coins out of Chocolate Boxes, and trade the coins for decorations and resources.
Don't worry if a Journey hasn't shown up for you yet. The studio says the start conditions are different for each Mayor.
Storage, Mailbox and skins
Everything you collect, from decorations to currency and special finds, goes into Capitol Storage. The studio says it has no size limit, so you won't run out of room. The Mailbox holds game news, and it's also where contest prizes show up.
Skins change how your main buildings look. Right now they work on the Barn and the Mailbox. Open the building, tap the brush button, and pick a skin you've unlocked.
Who makes it
Facebook lists the game under Happy Games Studio. The privacy policy the official page links to belongs to Happy Games Studio LLC, and so do the terms of use. Its support email is [email protected].
The game gets regular updates. The newest one on the official page is version 1.36.00, which brought the Volcano Beam Journey and a round of technical fixes. The studio asks players to report any problems in its official community.
Games with almost the same name
Search the App Store or Google Play and you'll find phone games with nearly the same name, like Merge Ville: Match Puzzle Game. Those are made by other companies. MergeVille, the town game with the Mayor, is played on Facebook, and its codes only work in MergeVille.
The community and Lucky Like
The official Facebook page has about 34K followers. There's also a public Facebook group called MergeVille Community and an official Discord server with about 9.5K members.
Lucky Like is the page's weekly contest. The studio picks one of its posts and draws five winners at random from the people who liked or commented on it. Prizes go to your in-game Mailbox. Put your Support ID in your comment, since that's how the studio finds your account.
Common questions
Is MergeVille free?
You don't pay anything to start, and there's nothing to download. You open it on Facebook and play. The studio's terms do cover buying virtual currency, and its posts mention spending Gems to get Flashlights faster, so there are things to buy if you want them.
How do I get MergeVille promo codes?
The official Facebook page posts them, and each post gives a deadline. In the game, open Settings, pick Redeem Code, and type the code in. Our promo codes page lists the codes as cards with the date each one went up, and a tap copies one.
Is MergeVille the same game as Merge Ville: Match Puzzle Game?
No. That one's a phone app from a different company. MergeVille is a Facebook game from Happy Games Studio, with its own Facebook page and its own codes. A code posted for MergeVille is only meant for MergeVille, so it won't work in the other app.
Where do I find my Support ID?
It's in the game's settings, and the studio says you can copy it from there. You'll need it if you win a Lucky Like prize, because the page asks winners to put it in a comment. That's how the studio knows which account should get the reward.
The Game Reward Community operates independently of MergeVille or Happy Games Studio. We provide a platform for players to list Promo Codes.
