Spin A Spell Overview October 2026

Spin A Spell is a free spin-and-raid game for iPhone, iPad and Android. You spin a slot machine to win coins, attacks, raids and shields, then spend the coins decorating your Magic Mansion. Along the way you raise pets, collect cards, and hit other players’ mansions. It’s been on both app stores since January 2022.

You’ll run out of spins long before you run out of things to build. The official Facebook page posts gift codes, and our Spin A Spell gift codes page lists them with the date on each one.

How the game works

Almost everything starts with the slot machine. Each spin lands on something: coins, a gold sack, a shield, an attack, or a raid. Coins and gold sacks pay for decorating your Magic Mansion, and every upgrade moves you up a level.

The store listings say each Mansion upgrade brings better treasures, so building and spinning feed each other.

Attacks, raids and shields

When the slot lands on an attack, you hit another player's mansion. A raid lets you dig through someone else's mansion for loot. Those players can be your Facebook friends or strangers from anywhere.

• Shields. Winning a shield guards your Mansion from other players' attacks.

• Revenge. If someone hits your Mansion, the game lets you hit them back.

Pets, characters and cards

You can unlock and upgrade both your character and your pets. The higher their levels, the more you get from attacks, raids and the slot machine. You find pets by exploring the Magic Mansion, and each new pet has a special skill that gives free spins.

Cards are the other big collection. Finishing them pays treasures and speeds up Mansion upgrades. You can trade cards with other players in in-game unions or in the official Facebook group, which both store listings link to.

Events and contests

New events arrive with updates, and the Facebook page announces each one. Recent ones include Music Box Partner, where you team up with friends by their game UIDs to clear co-op challenges, and Magic Pixies, where you collect little pixies from season card chests and events like Magic Town and Secret Garden.

The page also runs quizzes. Players answer in the comments with their game UID, and the page picks winners at random from the right answers. Your UID is what the studio uses to find your account, so keep it handy.

Who makes it

Both stores list the company as HK DENGSHEN TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED. Apple's copyright line names HK Forever9 Technology, and the support email is [email protected]. Google Play gives the release date as January 6, 2022.

It's still updated. The App Store shows version 1.27.1 from September 24, 2026, and Google Play's last update was September 20, 2026. Both notes say the update added new events and fixed bugs.

One change worth knowing: the studio used to run an official web store, the KOP Official Mall. Its pinned Facebook post says that store has closed and that purchases now happen in the game's own store.

Not the same as Piggy Boom

The same company also makes Piggy Boom, Piggy GO and Island King, all games where you spin, build and raid. They look alike, but each one is its own app, with its own Facebook page and its own codes. If you play Piggy Boom, its codes are on our Piggy Boom page.

Age ratings and prices

Apple rates it 13+ and notes cartoon violence, simulated gambling, contests, loot boxes, ads and chat. Google Play rates it Teen with a simulated gambling label. The studio's own listing is stricter than both. It says the game is only for players 18 and older, uses play money only, and never pays out real cash.

On Apple you need iOS 13.0 or later, and the download is 350 MB. Google Play lists Windows PCs too. Its Data safety section says nothing's shared with third parties, data's encrypted in transit, and you can ask for it to be deleted.
