Coin Tales Overview October 2026

Coin Tales is a free spin-and-build game for iPhone, iPad and Android. You spin a wheel to win coins, attacks and raids, then spend the coins building your village from a few cottages up to a castle. Cards, pets and weekly events sit on top of that. It’s been on the App Store since January 11, 2022.

Spins run out fast. Free spins links go up on the official Facebook page, and our Coin Tales free spins page keeps them as cards, each marked with the day it was posted.

How the game works

Every turn starts with the wheel. A spin can pay coins, or it can land on an attack or a raid. An attack hits another player's village. A raid digs into their stash of coins. Players you hit can come back for revenge.

Coins pay for buildings. When a village is built up, you move on to the next one, and each new place has its own coins, treasures and characters. Shields protect your village from attacks, and so does one of the pets.

Cards and card seasons

Cards come in sets of 9. Each set has White Cards, Gold Cards and one ACE Card, and the stars on a card show how rare it is. You find cards in Rare, Epic and Legend packs. Packs drop when you upgrade your village or raid someone, and you can buy them too. Finishing a set pays a lot of spins.

  • Seasons. A new Card Season starts every quarter, with 30 sets. Finish all of them and you win the season's final prize.

  • Trading. You can send five cards a day and collect five a day. You trade with Facebook friends. Asking teammates for cards doesn't count toward the limit.

  • Duplicates. Extra cards don't go to waste. You recycle them on the Stars Wheel for spins.

Pets

Your first pet shows up when you reach the second village. That's the Dragon. While he's awake, every attack you make earns more coins, and he earns even more as he levels up. The Doggy comes from finishing a certain card set. When someone attacks you, he might block it and save one of your shields.

Pets need Pet Food to stay awake, and only one can help you at a time. Tap the pet next to the SPIN button to feed or switch them. The studio says it gives out free Pet Food daily, so come back for it.

Events and the Star Chest

The game runs several kinds of events. In Adventure, you hit symbols on the wheel to fill a progress bar. Tournaments put you in a group and rank you on points from attacks and raids. In Team Boss, teammates fight a boss together. Quest is a chain of mini games, and Lost Treasure has you break bricks across 10 levels.

There's also the red Star Chest at the top of the screen. You earn one for every 30 stars you collect from building and from new cards. It can hold coins, spins, cards, Pet Food and Pet XP.

It's still being updated. Google Play's last update was September 29, 2026, and the App Store shows version 2.02 from August 29, 2026. The notes only say the update improves the overall experience.
