Dragonscapes Adventure drops you on a tropical island with Mia, and almost everything you do there costs energy. Clearing a fallen log, digging out a path: it all comes off the same bar.

What the game is

Century Games calls it a casual energy-exploring game where you find and merge dragons to discover new ones. That's a mouthful, but every word of it is doing a job.

You explore islands and clear what's in the way. You gather what you uncover, feed it into workshops, and turn out goods that fill orders. Then you build a home on the island and put your dragons in it.

There's no combat here. Nothing attacks you and you don't fight anyone else. The pressure comes from the energy bar and from production timers, not from losing.

How a session goes

Most sessions run the same shape, and it's short by design.

1. Spend the energy you've got. Every obstacle you clear takes some, so the bar decides how much exploring you get done.

2. Pick up what you uncovered. Clearing things reveals materials, new ground, and room to build on.

3. Start something producing. Workshops turn raw materials into goods, and the slower ones keep running while you're away.

4. Come back when the timers are up. Collect, fill your orders, and spend the energy that built back up.

That coming back is the point. You aren't meant to sit in this game for an hour, and it doesn't reward you for trying. It wants you back several times a day for a few minutes.

Where people get stuck is spending the whole bar on whatever's nearest. Clearing toward what a quest actually asks for gets you further than tidying up the island.

The dragons

Dragons are the collection you're building, and the store description is plain about how they arrive: you find them, and you merge them to discover new ones.

They live on your island once you build them a home. They're companions rather than fighters, so don't come to this expecting stats, rarities or battles. Nothing first-party describes any of that.

Century Games doesn't publish the full list or what merges into what. The game shows you as you go, and anyone handing you a complete dragon chart is guessing at it.

What's running now

The game keeps a rotation of side activities going alongside the islands. Version 3.05.0 landed on both stores on September 3, 2026, and its release notes name six of them.

Century Games flags the first three as time-limited itself, so treat the list as a snapshot of one update rather than a permanent menu. Some of these will have rotated out by the time you read this.

Two stores, two answers

The same game is sold under two different publisher names, and the two stores don't agree on who it's for either. Both are official, which is what makes it confusing.

The gap worth caring about is the age rating. Apple flags loot boxes on this game and Google doesn't, and that's the same content described two ways rather than two different versions of the game.

If you're deciding for a child, Apple's listing is the more cautious read of the two. Google's bigger review count makes its score the more settled number.

What it costs

Nothing, to start. Century Games says the game is completely free to download and free to play, and that some items can be bought with real money.

Google's listing also carries a Contains ads badge next to the in-app purchases one, so both are part of the game. Century Games points out in its own app notes that you can switch purchases off in your device settings if you'd rather they weren't there.

Neither store publishes a price range on this game's own listing. Open the shop in the game and the prices are there in your own currency.
