The story

The mom is called Lucy in the store listing. Her husband betrays her, and she leaves him for the sake of her daughter, who's been in tears over it. Then the two of them fall into the daughter's fairytale world.

That world is a forgotten candy park that's falling apart. Fixing it is how the story moves forward. As you rebuild, you learn more about the husband and about Fox, who the developer calls "the third person."

Why the names don't match. The store listing says Lucy. Some players found she goes by Sage once the story reaches the park, and the studio's own Facebook posts use the names Sage and Emily. If your screen doesn't match the listing, that's why.

How the merging works

You drag two matching items together and they become one better item. Merge two of those and you get something better again. The developer calls these synthesis puzzles, which is just its word for merging.

Customers ask for certain items. You fill their orders, and that's what pays for fixing the rides and booths around the park.

You need energy to make things on the board, and a big order can use a lot of it. When you're out, you're stuck until you get more. That's why the studio gives energy away on Facebook.

The studio keeps adding to the game. Recent updates on both stores list new amusement rides and a new event board, and the App Store notes mention a new season pass.

If you do buy, Google Play lists purchases from $0.99 up to $99.99 each. Near the top of Apple's list you'll find a Super Pass for $8.99 and a VIP Pass for $5.99, next to event bundles and special bundles.

Both stores say the game shows ads, and some rewards come from watching one. On Google Play, the developer says the app doesn't collect or share your data. The same listing says data isn't encrypted and can't be deleted.
