Hotel Legacy Overview October 2026

Hotel Legacy: Merge Game is a free merge game for iPhone, iPad and Android. You merge items to serve hotel guests, then use what you earn to fix up old buildings and turn them into hotels. It starts with Alyssa, who inherits a hotel from her grandmother and sets out to bring it back to life. Century Games makes it.

Alyssa's hotel

Alyssa's grandmother leaves her something she didn't see coming: a Hotel Manor. She teams up with some new friends to bring the place back to life, and her bigger plan is a whole chain of hotels of her own.

Who you'll meet

The studio's game page names six characters: Alyssa, Tata, Margaret, Marcus, Iris and Diego. One Facebook post mentions that Alyssa and Iris are regulars at karaoke.

Guests check in from around the world, too. You'll hear their stories, and the store hints that some of them might find true love along the way.

Merging for your guests

Drag two matching items together on the board, and they turn into something better. Guests want good service, fine food, drinks and souvenirs, and you make all of it by merging.

The store says the more you play, the more items you'll be able to make.

Hotels from around the world

You'll fix up more than one building. You buy new land, renovate old buildings and turn them into hotels. Each one has its own style, from places all over the world and from different times in history.

There are islands to decorate, and the studio says there are hidden surprises to find. The October 16 update on Google Play added more hotel areas to explore.

Card collecting and trading

During the Card Collection event, you fill an album with cards. You can trade spares with friends, and the studio's pinned Facebook post explains how. You and your friend both need to unlock the event, link your games to Facebook with friend-list permission on, and be Facebook friends.

To send one, open your album, tap a spare common card (it shows +1 or more), and tap the green Send button. You can gift up to two spare common cards a day. Shiny cards can't be traded, and cards nobody claims are cleared when the event ends.

Events

In late October 2026, Apple lists Midnight at the Haunted Hotel, where you merge eerie treasures and restore rooms under a spell. Cards Full of Thanks is a Thanksgiving card album that's coming next. There's also a Trick-or-Treat Sale with Halloween bundles, but that one costs money.

Free energy gifts

The Facebook page posts gift links with labels like "Claim today's FREE ENERGY gift" or "Grab your Friday Energy Gift." Anyone can tap them. Century Games has put some on its own website too, next to its event posts.

The page also runs contests. You leave an answer and your Game ID in the comments, and contest prizes go straight to your in-game mailbox if you win.

Who makes it, ratings and prices

The seller is Century Games Innovation Pte. Ltd., a Singapore company. It also makes Just Desserts, and Century Games makes Tasty Travels too.

Apple's latest version is 18.0, from October 20, 2026. On an iPhone or iPad you need iOS 15.0 or later, and the download is 875.8 MB. The game comes in English and 11 more languages, including Spanish, French and German.
