Tapping a reward link

This is the quicker of the two, and it's what the list above holds.

1. Open this page on your phone. Use the device Gaminator is installed on. A link has nothing to open on a computer.

2. Tap a reward at the top. Work down from the newest.

3. Let it open the app. Your phone asks whether to open Gaminator. Say yes, and the credits land as the lobby loads.

Typing a bonus code

Gaminator also has a real code box, which most games we cover don't. Funstage tucks it away in the settings, which is why people miss it.

1. Open Gaminator and let the lobby load.

2. Go into the settings. That's the menu, not the shop. The shop is where you buy credits, and the code box isn't in there.

3. Find the Bonus option. Funstage puts the code field under Bonus inside settings.

4. Type the code and confirm. Copy it exactly. The credits land on your balance once it goes through.

Codes turn up in your email too. If you're signed up to the Gaminator newsletter, tapping the link in that email does the same job as typing the code yourself.

The bonuses built into the game

Most of the credits you'll ever collect come from the game itself rather than from a code. Funstage runs four of them, and they stack up if you check in regularly.

The time bonus, every 4 hours

A free drop you can collect from the lobby once every four hours. How much you get depends on your level and how many friends you've connected, and VIP members wait less between them.

The daily bonus, reset at midnight

This one refreshes every day at 00:00 and stays there for 24 hours, so you've got a full day to pick it up. The size of it is built from your level, how many days running you've played, your friend count and your VIP standing. Miss a day and you're starting the run again.

Level bonuses

Every spin earns XP whatever happens on the reels. Fill the bar, reach a new level, and you get a credit drop for it. Higher levels also unlock more slots.

Holiday campaigns

Funstage runs bonus campaigns around holidays like Easter and Christmas, and it sends them out by push notification. If you've got notifications switched off for the app, those are the ones you'll never hear about.
