Family Island Free Energy

The energy bar empties fast in Family Island, and there’s always one more rock in the way when it does. Waiting is the default, but it isn’t the only option.

The list below is followed by the energy routes Melsoft documents itself. Our Family Island guide covers how the island and the family fit together.

Newest first. Below the list, the ways to get energy that come straight from the studio.

Each card below goes to a Family Island reward. Open them on the phone you play on.

Are there Family Island codes?

No, and it's worth being straight about that.

Melsoft runs a help center with more than forty articles for this game. Not one of them mentions a gift code, a promo code, or redeeming anything. There's no code box in the game to type one into.

What the studio does run is a set of ways to earn energy inside the game, plus offers on its own social pages. Those are the real ones, and they're all below.

Inviting friends pays the most

This is the biggest single source of free energy in Family Island, and Melsoft publishes exactly what it pays.

Every friend you bring in is worth 100 Energy. On top of that the first five each pay rubies on a rising scale, starting at 50 for the first and going up by ten each time to 90 for the fifth.

It keeps going after that. The tenth, fifteenth and twentieth friend each pay 200 rubies, five gold keys and sixteen time spheres. The thirtieth, fortieth and fiftieth each pay double that.

  1. Get to tier 2 first. The invite icon doesn't show up before that.

  2. Find it in settings or the store. It's on the Energy tab of the store, or in the game settings.

  3. Share the link with someone new to the game. They have to install it through your link.

  4. They play to tier 2. Then they should stay in for another five minutes, or close and reopen, so their progress registers.

The condition people trip on. Melsoft says that if the friend had the game installed before, the reward won't arrive. Inviting someone who already plays pays nothing, no matter how they install it.

The Dinner Table

Cooking is the everyday way to refill, and the Dinner Table is where it actually happens.

Cook at the hearth or the cooking table, open the Dinner Table, and drag the meals into the free slots. Then click the plate icon on the right to call the family over. They eat, you get the energy.

If you see Dinner table full, every slot already holds a dish, so feed the family to clear space. If you see Everyone is full, they don't need feeding yet. Spend some energy and come back to it.

Daily Loyalty Club missions

The Loyalty Club sets missions each day. Finishing them pays loyalty points, points move you up tiers, and the higher tiers pay better.

One thing to watch: Melsoft says you have to claim these yourself. There's a Collect button on the mission and a timer, and points you don't collect before the timer ends are gone.

The official page giveaways

Both store listings point at the same place, in the same words: follow Family Island on Facebook and Instagram for exclusive offers and bonuses. That's the studio telling you where the extras are.

The Facebook page has around two million followers and runs giveaways you enter by commenting, often a pick-a-number post with energy and tools as the prize. They come and go, so there's no schedule to give you.

The rule that can cost you the account

Because invites pay so well, some people set up extra accounts to invite themselves. Melsoft names that one directly.

Its fair play rules list creating or inviting fake accounts to get extra rewards as a breach, alongside buying items through unofficial means and taking advantage of bugs. The studio says the consequences can include having the account suspended, blocked or terminated.

The short version. Invite real people. Farming your own invites risks the island you already built, and no site offering you energy for a password or a download is the studio.

Why a reward did not arrive

What happenedWhat it usually means
An invite paid nothingYour friend already had the game installed before, which Melsoft says doesn't qualify
The invite icon is missingYou haven't reached tier 2 yet, so it hasn't unlocked
A friend installed but nothing cameThey need to reach tier 2, then stay in the game a few more minutes
Loyalty points vanishedThey weren't collected before the mission timer ran out
The family won't eatEveryone is full, so spend some energy first and come back

If none of those fit, Melsoft takes support questions through the help center, and it asks you to have your support ID ready.

Common questions

Are there Family Island promo codes?

No. The studio's help center runs more than forty articles for this game and none of them mention codes or redeeming, and there's no box in the game for one.

What is the fastest free energy?

Inviting a friend, at 100 energy each. Cooking and feeding the family at the Dinner Table is the one you can do every day.

Why did my invite reward not arrive?

The most common reason is that the person already had Family Island installed. Melsoft says the reward won't arrive in that case.

Do the Facebook giveaways still run?

Yes. Both store listings send players to Facebook and Instagram for offers and bonuses, and the page runs comment giveaways with energy and tools as prizes.

Can inviting extra accounts get me banned?

It can. Melsoft lists creating or inviting fake accounts for rewards as a fair play breach, and says accounts can be suspended, blocked or terminated.

Where do I ask about a missing reward?

Through the studio's help center. Have your support ID ready, which the game shows in the top left of the settings screen.
