How to Play Coin Master

Coin Master is a mobile game that mixes a slot machine with a village-building mechanic. The core loop is simple once you understand it, but there are enough moving parts that it helps to have someone walk you through it from the start.

The Slot Machine Is the Core

Everything in Coin Master starts with a spin. You have a slot machine with four symbols: coins, a hammer (attack), a pig (raid), a shield, and an energy symbol. Each spin lands on a combination of these and triggers a different outcome. You get a set number of spins per day for free, and you can earn more through daily links, events, and inviting friends.

What Each Symbol Does

  • Coins: Landing coins gives you coins directly. More coin symbols in one spin means a bigger payout.
  • Hammer (Attack): Lets you attack another player’s village, destroying one of their buildings and stealing coins.
  • Pig (Raid): Lets you raid another player’s coin stash. You dig up three spots and keep whatever you find.
  • Shield: Protects one of your buildings from the next attack against you.
  • Energy: Grants extra spins or coins depending on the current event.

Building Your Village

Coins you collect go toward building and upgrading structures in your village. Each village has a set number of buildings to complete. Finishing all of them lets you move on to the next village, which is more expensive but also offers better rewards. There are hundreds of villages in Coin Master and progressing through them is the long-term goal of the game.

Cards and Sets

As you play, you collect cards. Cards come in sets and completing a full set gives you a big reward including free spins, coins, and pet food. Cards drop from chests, which you buy using coins. Trading cards with friends is a big part of the game once you have duplicates.

Pets

Pets are companions that give you bonuses during spins. Foxy increases raid earnings, Tiger boosts attack payouts, and Rhino protects your buildings from attacks. You feed pets using pet food to keep them active. Each pet levels up over time and becomes more effective.

Tips for New Players

  • Collect your free daily spins every single day from the in-game bonus and from our daily links page.
  • Do not spend all your coins on chests early. Build your village first so you do not lose coins to raids.
  • Shields are valuable when you have a lot of coins saved up. Let them protect your buildings.
  • Join a Facebook group or community for Coin Master players. Card trading gets much easier with an active community.
